FAQ
Is my audio sent to a server?
Only when you tap Ask. The rolling 60-second buffer lives entirely in your phone’s memory; it is never written to disk and never leaves your device unless you actively press Ask. When you do, the last 60 seconds is sent to Google Gemini, an answer comes back, and the audio is discarded.
Does anyone else hear the meeting?
No. GenbaSalesPlus does not join meetings as a bot. There is no second account, no notification, no green light. The other party has no way to know you are using it.
What happens when my Pro trial ends?
You drop to the Free plan (1 project, 5 Asks/month, 2 summaries/month). All past data stays viewable. You pick which project to keep active; the rest are locked but readable. Resubscribe anytime to unlock everything.
Which file formats can I upload?
Free supports plain text, Markdown, CSV, and PDF. Pro adds Word (.docx), Excel (.xlsx), and PowerPoint (.pptx) via server-side conversion to PDF.
How do I cancel?
iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → GenbaSalesPlus → Cancel. No retention dance, no email to ask, no penalty.
Does it work offline?
No. Asks and summaries require Gemini API access. The app gracefully fails if your network drops mid-Ask; recording continues so you can retry.
What languages are supported?
English and Japanese at launch. Korean, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese (BR), and Italian are planned within the first months.
Is my data used to train AI?
No. We do not train models on your audio, documents, or asks. Per Google’s API terms, Gemini does not train on API-submitted content either.
Where is the data stored?
Locally on your iPhone, encrypted under iOS’s standard app sandbox. Office file conversions briefly use a private Supabase bucket (deleted within 24 hours). Nothing else is sent to our servers.
